Making French Toast -
Enhancing Syrups
Regular syrup can be enhanced with the addition of fruit. Add whole blueberries or sliced strawberries to maple syrup and heat on the stove to blend the flavors. Melt jam, jelly or preserves in a pan over medium heat, stir in maple syrup, and heat until the flavors marry for a fruity, sweet topping that tastes great on French toast.
