Making French Toast -
Advance Preparation
Although French toast is most often fried, it can also be baked. Stuffed French toast or French toast casseroles are best when prepared ahead and left in the refrigerator overnight. This allows the custardy egg and milk mixture to thoroughly saturate the bread to produce a flavorful, rich dish.
