1. In medium bowl, beat eggs, half-and-half, vanilla extract, sugar, and cinnamon.
2. Make 4 peanut butter and banana sandwiches.
3. Dip sandwiches in egg mixture. Allow the liquid to soak into the bread slices for a few seconds.
4. Transfer sandwiches to platter. Pour extra liquid over sandwiches.
5. Add vegetable oil to griddle or large skillet. Heat over medium-low heat.
6. Cook sandwiches on both sides until bread is slightly puffy and cooked through.
7. Sprinkle each bread slice with confectioners' sugar, and your favorite syrup, if desired. |
