Making French Toast -
Enhancing the Flavors
Basic French toast is made with a mixture of egg and milk, but there are many additional ingredients that can be added to the mix. Using half-and-half instead of milk produces a creamier toast. Adding a little cinnamon or nutmeg to the mixture spices up the meal while the addition of vanilla or almond extract will enhance the flavor of the French toast.
